    2. Welcome to the Japanese Releases Page. This Page contains all of the known releases in Japan by The Waterboys and Mike Scott.

    Vinyl and CD releases in Japan are always worth seeking out. They contain expanded artwork, usually with a lyric sheet included and with a obi strip as standard.

    Also, in many cases, The Japan editions contain extra songs that are unavailable elsewhere.

    ☀ The Band and Japan ☀

    Mike Scott has a long association with Japan having played a solo Tour there in January 1996. Mike then returned for a full band Tour in November 1997.

    The Waterboys played their first-ever show in Japan in 2014, then returned for more shows in 2015 and they played the Fuji Rock Festival for the second time, in July 2019.
